是齐国人，祖籍齐(今山东省东部),秦朝大将蒙武之女，秦将蒙毅,蒙恬之妹.

祖孙三代是秦国世代名将,蒙骜(?-公元前240,蒙武之父),蒙武(秦裨将军),蒙恬(?-前210年),蒙毅(官至上卿).

与秦国大将樊於期曾有婚约，后为救其性命坠崖身亡.
