沙圪塔村位于大坪乡政府西3公里处，大木公路从村中穿村而过，村座落于青沟水库上游，农业生产水源条件较好。全村6个自然村，9个村民组，1280口人，耕地面积1350亩，主要产业结构是种植业和养殖业，无其他集体收入。
